web. 2.0
Web 2.0 has taught me many things about the web. One thing that it really increased my knowledge of is blogger. I will definitely create a blog for my photography. I know now how to embed things and have a blog that connects to my website, flickr, and facebook which will be useful. I also discovered a good way to keep up with the news and sports through feed readers. Basically it opened my eyes to all the different things available on the web that can be used my advantage.
Shutterfly
Shutterfly is an online website I just discovered where you can send you pictures of to get printed. It allows you to create books, prints of various sizes amongst other cool things like photo mugs. The first thing I noticed when I opened up the sight was there its as easy as 1, 2 3 process. For someone like me, I really found this useful. I was guided right up to the ordering of the photos and therefor new exactly what I was ordering no guessing. This made the site easy to use, and all the different options for ordering you pictures were on the main page and easy to understand. Blacks has a similar website for ordering prints called, it is not as easy to use. There is no steps guiding you to order images so you have to browse the sight to discover Shutterfly was by far an easier sight to use. Overall the website was effective in there goal of being super easy to use, they claimed easy as 1, 2 , 3 and it was. I feel as though moms and other people who are not computer savvy could easily figure it out and order what they want. They have drop down lists of what they offer everything from stationary to christmas cards and it only took me three seconds and scrolling over the top to figure it out could not get easier than that. I would use shutterfly if I didn't already have a place to order from.

Facebook terms of use
Facebook terms of us state the following things.
They can use our information in connection with the services and features they provide such as partners and advertisers.
They can access preserve and share our information in response to legal requests ex. search warrant. Basically saying they are not liable to keep our information private.
Suggestions and feedback can be used without obligation to compensate us for it.
Our Ip content can be used as long as it is on Fb
Facebook allows other sites we use through facebook to follow the same privacy terms they have.
If there were to be a security breach in Facebook they are legally off the hook. In there terms it is written you use facebook at your own risk.
Picasa vs Flickr
Picasa and Flickr are very similar they both deal with your photos and allow you to organize and share them. Picasa is better at sorting and dealing with your photos, the amount of photos you can have in picasa is unlimited. Where as in Flickr you are given a certain amount of space to add pictures each month and it will only display so much data and then you either have to upgrade and pay or have some of your photos not show. For the purpose of organizing you photos and storing them Picasa is better and its free.
Flickr on the other hand is better for sharing for your photos with others and getting you work out there. It offers groups that allow you share your photos with other pictures of a common interest. You can add contacts and get regular updates of each others photos.
I would chose Flickr over picasa if I wanted to show my work to others and get feed back, but if I wanted to organize and store my pictures I would use Picasa. There is not wrong choice or better option it is just a matter of opinion and what you need.

Feed reader has it benefits and Drawbacks. Two benefits of feed reader is being able to access the main important new updates from several different websites without having to go searching each website. I enjoyed getting to read the header or each post and decide wether or not I wanted to read the rest of the post. Though there were some draw backs to using the feed reader is the amount of information coming in can be overwhelming and you have to look at it on a constant basis or you will fall behind. Also the feed reader allows you to look at he post but does not allow you to connect to other posts of similar nature you only get that post where as with a website I can move througout the website finding similar posts.
Question 2 Financial companies are using rrs feeds. Bankers are using RSS to communicate bank rate changes. Feeds are updated regularly to reflect changes to adjustable rate mortgages or the interest rate for CDs.http://www.feedforall.com/finance-companies-use-rss.htm
